Working process of air compressor oil and gas separator filter element:

The gas containing lubricating oil and impurities enters the air compressor oil and gas separator through the air inlet. The gas slows down and changes direction inside the separator so that the lubricating oil and impurities begin to settle. The special structure inside the separator and the function of the separator filter help to collect and separate these precipitated materials. The clean gas after sedimentation separation is discharged from the separator through the outlet for subsequent process or equipment use. The oil outlet at the bottom of the separator regularly drains the accumulated lubricating oil in the separator. This maintains the efficiency of the separator and prolongs the service life of the filter element. Oil is prevented from accumulating in the air system by separating the oil from the oil filter, and the coalescing filter may lose its efficiency over time due to oil saturation. When separator filter differential pressure reaches 0.08 to 0.1Mpa, the filter must be replaced. Regular maintenance and replacement of the oil separator is essential to its effectiveness. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines and schedule regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Precautions for replacing the filter element:

When the pressure difference between the two ends of the oil and gas separation filter reaches 0.15MPa, it should be replaced. When the pressure difference is 0, it indicates that the filter element is faulty or the air flow has been short-circuited, and the filter element should be replaced at this time. Generally, the replacement time is 3000~4000 hours, and the use time will be shortened when the environment is poor.

When installing the return pipe, ensure that the pipe is inserted into the bottom of the filter element. When replacing the oil and gas separator, pay attention to electrostatic release, and connect the inner metal mesh with the oil drum shell.
