Working principle of air compressor oil separation filter:
The compressed air coming out of the head of the air compressor will contain large and small oil droplets. In the oil and gas separator tank, the large oil droplets are easily separated, and the suspended oil particles with a diameter below 1μm need to be filtered through the micron glass fiber filter layer of the oil and gas separation filter.
The oil particles are directly intercepted by the filter material through the diffusion effect of the filter material, coupled with the mechanism of inertial collision condensation, so that the suspended oil particles in the compressed air rapidly condense into large oil droplets, under the gravity action at the bottom of the oil core, and finally return to the head lubricating oil system through the bottom return pipe inlet, so as to discharge more pure compressed air.
When the solid particles in the compressed air pass through the oil and gas separator, they will remain in the filter layer, resulting in an increasing pressure difference in the oil core.So when separator filter differential pressure reaches 0.08 to 0.1Mpa, the filter must be replaced. Otherwise it will affect the service life of the air compressor and increase the operating cost.
The air compressor oil and gas separator realizes the separation of lubricating oil and impurities in the gas through the physical principle. It is composed of a separator cylinder, an air inlet, an air outlet, a separator filter element and an oil outlet, etc. When the gas containing lubricating oil and impurities enters the separator, after appropriate deceleration and direction change, the lubricating oil and impurities begin to peak, and the separator filter element plays the role of collection and separation. The separated clean gas flows out from the outlet, while the accumulated lubricating oil is discharged through the outlet.
