The normal pressure difference of air filter of air compressor is not greater than -0.015BAr. ‌

Air filter, is the air filter, is the first important defense line to protect the air compressor, its main function is to remove the dust in the air, to ensure that the air into the air compressor without impurities. Air filter and oil filter, are made of high precision filter paper, its normal service life cycle is usually two thousand hours. If it is not replaced in time, may lead to insufficient exhaust volume, ‌which may lead to excessive load of the unit, and even impurities enter the main engine, thus damaging the air compressor. Therefore, to maintain the normal operation of the air filter and timely replacement is very important. The pressure difference of the air filter is a key indicator, used to monitor the working state of the air filter. According to the relevant standards, the pressure difference of air filter is required to be no more than -0.015BAr, in order to ensure the normal operation of the air compressor and extend its service life. If the differential pressure exceeds this value may need to be checked and possibly replaced with the air filter.

When the air filter element expires, the necessary maintenance should be carried out, and the maintenance should follow the following basic guidelines: Select the use time according to the differential pressure switch or differential pressure indicator information. Regular on-site inspection replacement, replacing rather than cleaning the filter element, so as not to damage the filter element, maximize the protection of the engine. Please note that the safety core cannot be cleaned, only replaced. After maintenance, wipe the inside of the shell and sealing surface carefully with a damp cloth.
