The main reasons for the oil output of the screw air compressor air filter include the following :

1. Abnormal shutdown : when the screw air compressor stops suddenly (such as power failure, emergency shutdown, etc.), if the intake valve is closed less than time or the seal is not strict, high pressure oil and gas may be expelled from the intake valve and discharged through the air filter, resulting in oil and gas channelling to the air filter.

2. Inlet valve sealing surface damaged : The sealing surface of inlet valve is the key part to prevent oil and gas leakage. If the sealing surface is dirt, damaged or stuck, the seal is not tight, and the oil and gas may leak to the air filter through the intake valve during the operation of the air compressor, resulting in oil injection.

3. Oil and gas separator fault : The oil and gas separator is responsible for separating the oil from the compressed air. If the filter element of the oil and gas separator is blocked or damaged, the oil may not be separated effectively and will be discharged along with the compressed air, forming an oil injection when passing through the air filter element.

4. Oil return system failure : The oil return system is responsible for sending the separated lubricating oil back to the compressor for recycling. If the return oil line is blocked, broken or improperly installed, the oil at the bottom of the oil separation core cannot be returned to the compressor in time, and then discharged with the compressed air, forming oil injection when it passes through the air filter core.

5. Excessive cooling oil : before the operation of the screw air compressor, if too much cooling oil is added, although the separation system can separate part of the oil, the excessive cooling oil may still be discharged with the gas and form an oil injection when it passes through the air filter.

Solutions to these problems include :

1. Repair the intake valve : check the sealing surface of the intake valve, clean up the dirt, and repair the damaged sealing surface.

2. Replace the oil and gas separator : check the filter element of the oil and gas separator regularly and replace the damaged filter element in time.

3. Check the oil return system : check the oil return line regularly to ensure that it is unimpeded, and clean or replace it if necessary.

4. Control the amount of cooling oil : control the amount of cooling oil in strict accordance with the requirements of the equipment to avoid excessive addition.

The above method can effectively solve the problem of oil production of the air filter element of the screw air compressor.
