First, the role of air compressor three filter

1. Air filter element: Filter the particles and moisture in the air entering the air compressor to prevent them from entering the machine and affecting the normal operation of the machine, and also avoid the subsequent filter element being polluted and blocked.

2. Oil and gas separator: the oil and water mixture in the compressed air is separated to make the compressed air more pure, which can extend the service life of the downstream filter element.

3. Oil filter element: filter the lubricating oil in the compressed air to avoid oil pollution entering the machine and affecting the normal operation of the machine.

Second, replacement cycle

In the process of using the air compressor, the replacement cycle of the three filter elements is different:

1. Air filter element: under normal circumstances, it needs to be replaced regularly, and the replacement cycle is about 2000 hours.

2. Oil and gas separator: It needs to be regularly checked and replaced according to the use environment and the number of uses, and the general replacement cycle is about 2000 hours.

3. Oil filter element: the replacement cycle is generally about 1000 hours.

Third, the replacement process

The specific process of replacing the three filter elements is as follows:

1. Replacement of air filter element: First open the discharge valve of air filter element, remove the old air filter element, and then install the new air filter element, and finally close the discharge valve.

2. Replacement of the oil and gas separator: First discharge the accumulated water inside the oil and gas separator, remove the original oil and gas separator, install a new oil and gas separator, and seal the joint.

3. Oil filter replacement: First remove the upper cover of the oil filter, take out the old oil filter, and install the new oil filter into the oil filter, and finally cover the upper cover.

Fourth, precautions

When replacing the three filters of the air compressor, the following points need to be noted:

1. The replacement of filter element needs to use the same model and specification as the original filter element.

2. When replacing the filter element, the machine needs to be decompressed to avoid the pressure difference between the upper and lower reaches of the filter element, affecting the replacement effect of the filter element.

3. After replacing the filter element, it is necessary to discharge the air or oil upstream of the filter element to prevent cross-pollution of the new and old filter elements.
