The Air Compressor Oil Filter consists of a paper filter element folded like a harmonica, which is responsible for removing dirt, rust, sand, metal filings, calcium, or other impurities from oil that can damage other components of the air compressor. The Oil Filters cannot be cleaned.

The initial differential pressure range of air compressor oil filter is 0.02MPa to 0.2bar. The initial pressure difference of air compressor oil filter depends on the quality of the filter material and the conditions of use. Some oil filters have a low initial differential pressure, for example≤0.02MPa, while others are between 0.17-0.2bar. These differences reflect differences in the design and materials of different brands and models of oil filters. ‌

Air compressor oil filter production process steps:

Compression: ‌First, gas enters the cylinder of the compressor through the intake valve, and the slide vane in the cylinder moves up and down along the cylinder wall to compress the gas. This process causes the temperature of the gas to rise. ‌

Cooling: Because the temperature of the gas increases during the compression process, needs to be cooled. The cooling unit usually consists of a cooler, by cooling fins to dissipate heat into the surrounding environment, cooling fans to help speed up the heat transfer.‌

Separation: In the sliding vane air compressor, separation is an important step. Separator separates the high-speed rotating compressor from the cooler through the reducer, to avoid the cooler from the high-speed rotation of the compressor, to ensure its normal work. The separated gas enters the separator, the oil in the gas is separated by a multistage separator.‌

Treatment: The separated gas may still contain some impurities and moisture, need to be further treated. The treatment process includes filtration and drying. Filter removes particulate matter and solid impurities from the gas by filtering impurities. Dryer removes water from gas by means of adsorbent or condenser.‌
