The working principle of oil content of screw air compressor mainly includes centrifugal separation, inertia separation and gravity separation . When the compressed oil and gas mixture enters the oil separator, under the action of centrifugal force, the air rotates along the inner wall of the separator, and most of the lubricating oil is thrown to the inner wall under the action of centrifugal force, and then flows along the inner wall to the bottom of the oil separator through the action of gravity . In addition, part of the oil mist particles are deposited on the inner wall due to inertia under the action of the curved channel in the separator, and at the same time, the oil mist is further separated through the filter element .
Structure and function of oil separation tank
The oil separation tank is not only used for oil and gas separation, but also for lubricating oil storage. When the oil and gas mixture enters the oil separator, most of the lubricating oil is separated through the internal rotation process. The oil core, return pipe, safety valve, minimum pressure valve and pressure gauge in the oil distribution tank work together to ensure the normal operation of the system. The filtered air from the oil core enters the cooler through the minimum pressure valve for cooling and then exits the air compressor .
The main components of the oil separation tank and their functions
1.oil separator : filter oil mist particles in oil and gas mixture.
2.return pipe : The separated lubricating oil is returned to the main engine for the next cycle.
3.safety valve : when the pressure in the oil distributor tank reaches 1.1 times of the set value, it automatically opens to release part of the air and reduce the internal pressure.
4.minimum pressure valve : establish lubricating oil circulation pressure to ensure machine lubrication and prevent compressed air backflow.
5.pressure gauge : detects the internal pressure of oil and gas barrel.
6.blowdown valve : regular discharge of water and dirt at the bottom of the oil subtank.
